We invite you to join us in these exciting endeavors. We encourage you to become members of Bon Shen Ling and to attend Chongtul Rinpoche’s Bon teachings. We hope that you will help us with your generous contributions to our scholarship and sponsorship programs and will join us in funding the building of the vocational training schools and cultural centers. We invite your comments and correspondence.
A Message from the Board of Directors
Tog Den Won Po Chongtul Rinpoche is the second son of six children, was raised in India by his Tibetan parents, father Amdo Sherpa, Lakha Wangchuk and mother Kham Nang Chen, Norzin. Chongtul was given his childhood name of Namgyal Wangdhu by the Abbot of Yungdrung Ling. At the age of two, the Abbot of Yungdrung Ling explained to the Abbot of Menri Monastery, His Holiness Menri Trizin 33rd, that this boy was a reincarnated lama who was closely associated with both abbots during a previous lifetime, and would be very important in the preservation of Bon transmissions.
We invite you to join our mission to encourage peace and harmony in all sentient beings through:
Preserving the Bon native religion of Tibet and its teachings of meditation, healing, and compassion for the world.
Providing assistance for the impoverished through the creation of educational and medical programs in India, Tibet, Bhutan, Mongolia, and Nepal.
Establishing a vocational training school and Cultural Complex center in India and a United States Cultural Center to share the Bon tradition by teaching the Bon philosophy of meditation techniques and healing modalities.
